Abstract:
A compact printed Log-periodic dipole antenna array is proposed for millimeter wave communications. The proposed array antenna contains a compact SIW power divider and eight printed Log-periodic dipole antenna elements, while the elements have features with broadband and high gain. With the ISO-degree phase difference obtained by the adjacent output ports, the SIW power divider maintains the miniaturization of the array antenna. Simulated results claim that the array antenna achieved a

< -10 dB bandwidth of 41.3-49.5 GHz. The gain performance of 14.1 dBi at 42 GHz and the compact dimension promise that the antenna is suitable for millimeter wave communications.
