Abstract:
The amount of stroke patients has been raising year by year. The traditional treatment supplies the patients with some drugs combining with physical rehabilitation methods. However, in the course of rehabilitation therapy, the recovery of patients often is limited by the level and experience of the therapists. Furthermore, the rehabilitation therapy is uasually lack of scientific and accurate assessments and guidances. Evaluation on the recovery of patients' motor function from the perspective of muscle force and antagonistic characteristics of muscle force will provide a reliable reference. Factly, the completion of the corresponding actions of human body is the result of the interaction between active muscle and antagonistic muscle. In this paper, to studying the characteristics of antagonistic muscle groups, the muscle force model based on Hill is established and verified which proves the accuracy and applicability of this prediction model of muscle force. Then the properties of antagonistic muscle groups consisting of biceps brachii and triceps brachii are researched through an experimental platform comprising of the dSPACE real-time simulation system, computer, FAB motion capture system, the EMG(electromyography) signal sensor and participants, which indicates that the active muscle and antagonistic muscle, coordinating with each other, jointly safeguard the security and stability of the elbow joint movement.
