Abstract:
In linear gray-scale image convolution filters, pixel values can only be scaled. But, in color image convolution filters, which treat color image pixels as vectors, pixel values can be submitted to a host of affine transforms: scaling, reflection, rotation and shearing. Hyper-complex affine transforms are presented which extend linear color image convolution filtering techniques.
