Abstract:

The work carried out in this paper addresses the field of monitoring and diagnosing induction machine faults, namely the turns in short-circuit, the broken rotor bar faults and the combined turns in short-circuit and broken rotor bar fault. The design of a system for monitoring, detecting and locating faults since their birth, for different loads of the machine, is achieved by the use of intelligent advanced techniques. The technique applied in this work is based on neuro-fuzzy (N-F) networks of ANFIS-type whose knowledge base makes use of indicators derived from discrete wavelet transform (DWT) analysis and spectral analysis of the stator current of the machine (FFT), which allows, in addition to the detection, the evaluation of the number of broken bars and the position of the turns in short-circuit.
