Abstract:

Management of construction projects is becoming crucial in past decades. The reason is that construction projects are initiated in dynamic environment which brings in circumstances of high uncertainty and risk due to accumulation of many interrelated parameters. There has been a growing awareness about occupational safety and health risks in last year's. However, few researches are done on identification of road safety issues and risk prevention specifically in road construction projects. Hence, a new topic on risk assessment and management concerning safety will be additional source for the literature in management field. The article first discusses in detail the road construction project and then predicts risk factors of the road rehabilitation project (CAREC 3- Dushanbe to Uzbekistan Border) to ensure road safety of local population. Accordingly, article aims to predict and implement assessment of risky factors on road construction process in advance to develop strategies and counteract the high risk factors.
