Abstract:

Web service discovery will become more and more important as the services published in Internet expand exponentially. To find a service, non-functional (QoS) properties of Web services, such as time, cost, reliability, play a significant role. Though there are many researches work on QoS based service matchmaking, few works consider client interests as a non-functional properties. In fact, it is an important factor. In this paper, we, firstly, propose a novel QoS model by adding an interest degree property. The computation of the interest degree is analyzed, too. Then, a matchmaking algorithm based on the proposed QoS model is constructed. Finally, a simulation experiments is done. It is shown from the experiments that adding client interests to QoS model is useful and benefic.
