Peer-to-peer networking is set of communications among peers in order to achieve a certain purpose. In general, peer-to-peer networking uses the opportunistic probing in order to find the appropriate peer for obtaining data. However, the opportunistic probing can introduce signaling overhead and delay. In this paper, we proposed a method to mitigate the opportunistic probing so that the performance of peer-to-peer network can be improved.
