The governing characteristics and sliding ratio of CVT are studied, the specific governing characteristics of CVT is deduced, and the dynamic matching is carried out in combination with the actual working conditions of Baja racing car. Through the derivation of the relationship between the governing characteristics and the sliding ratio of the CVT, the mechanical adjustment method to suppress the sliding of the CVT and improve the adaptability to extreme working conditions is determined.
