Abstract:

Communication between human and machine is inevitable in the ubiquitous age. However, human beings remain limited memory, limited sensor and limited processing ability although machines become complex and small with GB storage, Mbps communication and GIPS processing. This paper presents one of communication methods based on sound and wavelet transformation. The wavelet transformation visualizes the sound for human understanding and gives a filtered sound for machine understanding. The communication between human and machine based on the same media as sounds and the same technology as wavelet is significant for mutual understanding in the ubiquitous age. Both activities for human and machine understandings are also included here.
