Abstract:

By using steered adaptive techniques, this paper proposes a wideband source signal direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation method based on one stretched acoustic vector sensor, which provides an angular super-resolution estimation of uncorrelated polarized sources simultaneously. The antenna beam is scanned over the direction of interest, and the adaptive estimator will reach its steady state such as forming peaks in the signal DOAs. Beyond that, it also can improve the performance of the high-resolution azimuth estimation. Simulation results are included to validate its effectiveness and validness.
