Abstract:

Device to device (D2D) communication is effective to improve spectral efficiency. However, it causes interference between cellular and D2D in case of spectrum sharing mode where cellular and D2D communication use the same resource. In this article, when frequency is persistently allocated, we propose an interference avoiding scheme for D2D communication which does not allocate subchannels that nearby cellular users currently use via overhearing signal power of uplink cellular users and calculating the interference in the frequency domain.
