Abstract:

This study introduces fast reference node scheduling for time synchronization for Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks (FSS). FSS aims to speed up the scheduling of reference nodes, ultimately resulting in decreased total energy usage. In this study, we construct and evaluate the performance of FSS in large-scale networks using a simulation. The networks included a variety of various designs. FSS takes much less time than our previously proposed method, namely scheduling-based low-energy synchronization (SLES). Experiential findings reveal that FSS decreased consumption time by around 55% compared to SLES for the massive network with 450 nodes.
