Abstract:

A series of new polymers with different styrylquinoline moiety have been successfully synthesized by free radical polymerization. Polymers were characterized by 1H NMR-spectroscopy and DSC techniques and UV-vis spectroscopy. The third-order nonlinear optical response of spin deposited thin films has been investigated by means of Maker fringes technique using 30 ps laser pulses at a fundamental wavelength of 1064 nm.
