Abstract:

In this paper, we propose a testbed for analyzing performance degradation of multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing wireless local area network due to wireless personal area network interferer using LabVIEW and universal software radio peripheral (USRP). The proposed system consists of three parts, i.e., victim, interferer, and channel. Both victim and interferer are implemented on the same USRP board controlled by our LabVIEW program. Using the proposed testbed, bit error rate (BER) at the victim receiver is measured and then compared with theoretical BER according to various signal to interference plus noise power ratio. The measured and theoretical BER curves show good agreement so that our proposed testbed is expected to be widely used to analyze various coexistence scenarios.
