Abstract:

The given work presents a description and results of tests of suppression of regular interference at the input of a voltage to pulse width converter by using weighted averaging (windowing) during pulse width measurement. A mathematical description of weighted signal averaging with pulse width modulation is presented. It was shown that the method of weight averaging during the measurement of pulses width provides effective suppression of regular interference in a given frequency range using the selected weight functions (windows) with the appropriate properties of their spectral characteristics. The effectiveness of the proposed method was carried out by simulation using a number of weighting functions (windows) such as Hamming, Blackman, Blackman-Harris and Dolph - Chebyshev.
