Project planning plays an important role on the sustainable development because firms become more and more project-base. Sports field project planning is complicated due to problems of due-date assignment, site characteristics, design and layout, and scheduling. This study applies FANP (fuzzy analytic network process) to evaluate and to prioritize the criteria of sports-field project planning, with the consideration of uncertainty judgement and interdependencies among criteria/sub-criteria. A case study is carried out to construct a decision-making framework for sports-field project planning. In the addressed case, there are three criteria and 12 sub-criteria. The results shall provide guidance for the firms when planning to proceed a sports-field project.
