Abstract:

Increasing concerns have been attracted for response of crop to climate warming. Nevertheless, growth of crop has time-lags effect on climatic factors, which are addressed very few. Therefore, this paper takes the spring wheat plant as an example to build the relationship between the changing climate and the spring wheat in Miqin oasis located in the eastern Hexi Corridor, which is achieved by analyzing the response of NDVI of spring wheat to the changed climate based on time-lags effect. The results show that correlation of NDVI of spring wheat with temperature and precipitation is synchronous and the duration between each other is 1 month. And NDVI has 1 month lag to sunshine duration, and its effect on sunshine duration is 1 month, while effect of the latter on the former lasts 2 months. Therefore, when analysis of response of NDVI of spring wheat in growing period to climate change was conducted, temperature and precipitation were calculated between March and July, while sunshine time was between February and July. Also, prolonging sunshine duration and increasing precipitation is beneficial to the increase of NDVI and yields of spring wheat.
