Abstract:

This paper focuses on the reasoning mechanism of a system that provides individualized support to users of a modern mobile phone. The system is called MobIFM and uses a combination of a cognitive theory called HPR with a multi-criteria decision making theory called MAUT to make hypothesis about users' goals and plans and provide individualized assistance in case a user action is considered as not intended.
