Abstract:
To further optimize the control performance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), a PMSM Model Predictive Control (MPC) strategy is proposed. A speed and current dual closed-loop predictive control system based on MPC has been designed, incorporating a cost function and a voltage saturation component within the controller to simplify the predictive control computation process. Moreover, considering the deviation of the d-axis current from zero during acceleration, deceleration, or load changes, which leads to a slower response speed of the PMSM, a two-stage predictive model containing the [{id,{{i}_q}}] dual state variables was constructed to achieve optimal control. The simulation outcomes demonstrate that this control method significantly improves the response speed of the PMSM and achieves steady speed regulation.
