Abstract:
The article discusses an adaptation of ViPS to build an intelligent infrastructure for agriculture in the Plovdiv region termed "Agriculture 2.0 - Plovdiv". The main challenge is the virtualization of "things" from the physical world, as well as related events, time and spatial aspects. To present the spatial aspects of things we use an Ambient-Oriented Modeling approach. By adapting of ambient-oriented interpreter we created an animated simulator for modelling of some scenarios implementing basic services in the space. The infrastructure is developed together with two agricultural institutes in the region of Plovdiv - the first deals with cereals, and the second with vegetable crops.
