Abstract:

PAPR (peak-to-average power ratio) reduction of the transmitted signal is one of the main challenges and issues of concern in a OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system, which is affect the efficiency of the Radio-Frequency Power Amplifier (RF PA). As one of attractive techniques, interleaving can be used in PAPR reduction for multicarrier signals without spectrum distortion but the common drawback of these methods is the transmission of Side Informations (SI) to the receiver, which degrades the data rate. In this paper, we propose a PAPR reduction method using interleaving technique xith a better performances in terms of PAPR reduction, a new coding of interleavers keys at the transmitter and a robust decoding procedure at the receiver, without data rate loss. Simulation results in the context of IEEE 802.16e (WiMAX) standard show an improvement of PAPR reduction without degradation of BER (Bit Error Rate) and frequency response.
