Abstract:

Two types of reconstruction filters for bone-conducted (BC) speech are demonstrated in highly noisy environments. Several types of noise are prepared and loudly generated from speakers where a highly noisy environment is artificially created. When attendees come to our booth, they are in a BC microphone. Attendees will be able to listen to and distinguish the resulting sounds obtained by the two reconstruction filtering approaches. The resulting BC speeches are less noisy than the air-conducted (AC) speech.
