Abstract:
In this paper, we consider a simple nonlinear system, chaotic spiking oscillator, whose system exhibits various bifurcation phenomena and its dynamics is governed by one-dimensional piecewise linear chaotic return map which analysis can be performed rigorously. By using the same control method, which is used to synchronize the coupled one-dimensional chaotic maps, to synchronize the coupled chaotic oscillators, we consider the relationship between coupled discrete-time system represented by coupled chaotic maps and coupled continuous-time system represented by coupled chaotic oscillators. Laboratory measurements are provided to confirm some theoretical results.
