Abstract:

Physical layer security has attracted tremendous attention in recent years. This paper proposes a novel transmit antenna selection and cooperative communication design to enhance physical layer security. The proposed scheme is brought up in order to take full advantage of macro diversity, so that security performance can be enhanced to some extent. Specifically, we consider the scenario which contains two cooperative transmitters, one legitimate receiver and one eavesdropper. We first illustrate the proposed scheme, under which we derive the expressions of the probability density function of the signal-to-noise ratio at the receivers. We then derive the exact expression of secrecy outage probability. Following that, the cooperation method, which refers to the optimal power allocation strategy between the two transmitters is raised. Numerical simulation results show that compared with traditional TAS method without cooperation, the proposed scheme achieves better performance.
