Abstract:

This paper proposes a virtual teaching platform applied to undergraduate students concerning an induction motor drive technique. Such a technique is called as Field Oriented Control (FOC) and it is presented and analyzed, in a simple form, by using the proposed platform. This virtual platform uses a GUIDE tool from MATLAB jointly with the SIMULINK. Simulation results of FOC strategy and also its simplicity usage are shown in this work.
