Abstract:

This paper proposes a back-stepping based discrete sliding mode adaptive control scheme for hypersonic flight vehicle (HFV) in presence of unknown dynamics. With current control inputs being designed via future expected outputs, the uncertainty of discrete equivalent prediction model (EPM) is analyzed. The adaptive law based on the dead-zone function is designed to estimate the unknown bound of system uncertainties. The validity of the algorithm is verified in simulation results.
