Abstract:
The development of all-solid-state optical sensors based on PVC polymeric membranes doped with polyamine receptor bearing pyrene fluorogenic groups for the assessment of non-opioid analgesic ketoprofen, KF, in aqueous media is reported. The analytical characteristics of KF-selective optodes were improved significantly through accurate tuning of sensing material composition, selection of the appropriate solid support material, and understanding the fluorophore functioning mechanism. Moreover, the possibility to extend the KF-optical linear response range from 1 uM to 0.1 mM with the lowest detection limit of 1.35 uM and R2 of 0.993 through multisensory approach via application of fluorescent sensor array was shown.
