Abstract:

Research directed towards 13.56MHz organic RFID tags is one of the drivers for the field of organic electronics, because low-cost high-volume plastic RFID tags could replace barcodes in the future. A capacitively-coupled 64b organic RFID tag operating at 125kHz has been demonstrated in [1]. Inductively-coupled load modulation at 13.56MHz has been reported in [2]. However, the combination of both, a 64b organic RFID tag, inductively-coupled at 13.56MHz has not been reported before.
