Abstract:

Object tracking has gained quite an interest from researchers all over the world. Even though there are numerous approaches to solve the problem of tracking multiple objects in visual clutter, it is still difficult to evaluate and compare the methods with one another, due to the lack of standard database available. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to address this issue and establish a standard database accessible for both public and research organization. The database introduced is basically divided into 2 categories; outdoor environment and indoor environment, and it covers different head population, pose, orientation, lighting conditions and etc. However, unlike other database available in the World Wide Web, this database is multipurpose and it can be used for either head tracking, body tracking, arms tracking or legs tracking. Also, the ground truth data for each video will be fully provided and opened for public.
