Abstract:

It is demonstrated here that the exit wave-field of objects from two different planes along the wave propagation axis can be retrieved from their coherently summed far-field diffraction intensity. This is achieved through the application of an iterative projection algorithm developed previously in [1]. Simulations show that given such an intensity data, the algorithm can successfully retrieve the exit wave-field of the two objects simultaneously, provided the objects are translated far enough away from each other in the transverse direction to the propagation axis.
