Abstract:
Physical activity has well known physical and psychological benefits. All over the world, people from all ages follow some kind of fitness workout plan to achieve some results in terms of health and wellness. Due to the uniqueness of the human being it is difficult to create generic workout plans that fit everyone's needs. In many cases people seek the help of professionals for a personal training experience and to get tailored workout plans to maximize results. In this paper, we propose a new approach for assisted generation of dynamic tailored workout plans based on wearables that monitor heart rate data. These workouts have their exercises dynamically generated based on the information provided by the wearables providing an individual training experience that maximizes results by maintaining the individual heart rate inside the zone more adequate for the users' health condition and the expected results.
