Abstract:
Image quality and scanning time are critical in digital pathology. However, the tile-effect issue typically occurs in some cases. The root cause could be the not acceptable sample quality or the applied scanner system. There are several different algorithm solutions to compensate image heterogeneity. We implemented and validated four different approach for compensating output images created with an area scanner system.
