Abstract:

Inductively coupled coils are commonly used in implanted biomedical electronic devices for wireless power and data transmission. The design challenges include high power transmission efficiency, high data rate, and overall low power operation. This article uses genetic algorithm for the optimization which has the advantages of global optimization, capability of handling multiple targets, and providing multiple solutions.
