Abstract:
We propose a microchannel device for novel cancer examination using C. elegans. By installing multiple pillars in the central part of the channel, it became possible to go through multiple C.elegans and make multiple judgments. We also developed capacitive sensor that can confirm the movement of C. elegans without an imaging system. When colored water imitating a specimen is dropped on the channel, it diffuses to the whole with the passage of time. Moreover, by adding a thickener, it became possible to reduce the diffusion rate of the specimen in the device.
