Abstract:
DIY Assistive Technology (DIY-AT) prototyping platforms offer exciting opportunities to engage stakeholders in different countries in the making and customization of novel interfaces for people with disabilities. These platforms need to be designed in collaboration with local stakeholders to ensure they are relevant, usable, and sustainable in each context.
