Abstract:

In the face of a worldwide teacher shortage and, in the United States, a critical shortage of special education teachers, there is an urgent demand for appropriate educational resources. For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs), in particular, there is a compelling need to develop educational tools and strategies to facilitate independence and self-sufficiency and address poor employment outcomes in adulthood.
