Abstract:
Noise mitigation in the presence of nonlinearities pose to be challenging in the adaptive filters. It is commonly known that spline nonlinear adaptive filters have low computational complexity and can effectively model nonlinear systems. Various techniques are introduced in order to increase the efficacy of the distributed active noise control systems in the presence of nonlinearities. In this paper a new cost function based on logarithmic sine squared spline (LSSS) is suggested for a distributed active noise control (DANC) systems. The proposed method employs incremental strategy for DANC while enhancing convergence rate and steady-state performance. The proposed technique improves the performance and attains faster convergence as compared to the existing techniques under various nonlinear DANC scenarios.
