Abstract:
This study present microfluidic synthesis of functional materials such as highly monodispersed hydrogel, hard sphere, microcapsule, Janus microsphere, or microfiber. The control of multiphase flows in the microfluidic device provides the defined volume of chemical reaction, which is useful methodology for the synthesis of novel functionalized materials. The précised formation of geometrical droplet and jetting of microfluid can be managed by capillary number, interfacial tension, and dimension of microfluidic device.
