Abstract:
The emergence of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) enabled cloud model has brought a major paradigm shift for cloud computing and IoT environments. This model is introduced to improve the efficiency of conventional Fog computing paradigm, while offering more steady and trustworthy services. Nevertheless, this trustworthy and economical service depends on collecting and analyzing IoT devices’ data, raising severe security threats. Therefore, we introduce a redactable blockchain-based secure data aggregation method for the IoT-enabled cloud paradigm, "RBDA." We propose a three-tier architecture-based data aggregation system that integrates redactable blockchain with IoT enabled cloud environment. It provides significant support to attain efficient and secure data aggregation in an IoT environment with computationally secure encryption and signature scheme. Specifically, the proposed model provides fine-grained data aggregation with immutable redactable blockchain architecture. In addition, the detailed security theoretical proofs and performance analysis demonstrate the efficiency and practicability of the proposed model.
