Abstract:

Dispersion-induced IQ imbalanced compensation with an electrical frequency-domain equalizer in transmitter for 10 GSymbol/s QPSK self-homodyne transmission with AQPM pilot-carrier is demonstrated. Although peak-to-average power ratio of dispersion induced QPSK signal before 200 km SMF transmission becomes double, an error vector magnitude can be 5.9 % after SMF transmission.
