The shipping industry is an important industry for human beings to communicate with each other for the import and export of culture and trade. Ensuring the efficiency of ship navigation is an important path for the sustainable development of the shipping industry, and one of the important factors affecting the energy efficiency of ship is the fouling of the ship's hull. This paper presents two data driven methods of hull fouling monitoring based on ships with and without automatic sensor data acquisition systems.
