Abstract:

This article describes usage of artificial neural network (ANN) to predict a chaotic dynamical system. Properly designed and implemented neural network is able to learn the properties of such a system. Using artificial intelligence, it is possible to predict the following values based on current system values with certain accuracy. The ANN is trained to learn the output differentials of Lorenz attractor. The experimental part of this paper compares four different neural network structures that have been applied to investigate this issue.
