Abstract:

This paper aims to develop a framework to identify the external excitation of the structure using a high-speed camera. First, the full-field vibration response of the structure under test is acquired using a phase-based motion estimation technique and modal analysis is performed. The test natural frequencies and mode shapes are combined with the eigenvector difference method based on the finite element model to update the constructed stiffness matrix. Finally, a regularization algorithm is used for force identification of the external excitation. The tests show that the system stiffness matrix can be updated along the real modal direction and the external excitation and vibration response of the structure can be accurately identified.
