Abstract:

This paper considers the impact time attack problem against nonmaneuvering targets. A novel impact time guidance law is designed in two-dimensional (2-D) space, which can not only drive the estimated impact time error to zero in finite time, but also make the estimated impact time converge to the actual one. Therefore, the proposed guidance law can accurately achieve the desired impact time with zero miss distance. Then, the results are extended to 3-D impact time guidance design and applied to 3-D simultaneous attack. The effectiveness of the proposed guidance laws is verified through numerical simulations.
