Abstract:

The Institute of National Colleges of Technology was inaugurated to manage 55 national KOSEN throughout Japan. National Institute of Technology is center of KOSEN. At the NIT of college, there is a Core curriculum that is the core of KOSEN education. On top of that there is the Model curriculum. A model core curriculum (MCC) that features the characteristics of each college is implemented by combining these. MCC is largely classified into ten fields. Learning goals and reach targets are defined for each. There is besides the learning curriculum, they are defined about generic skills. However, generic skills are different from the content of knowledge retention. Therefore, it is difficult to carry out the paper test and the confirmation test. Generic skills are needed to act in society. Even in MCC, it is suggested that evaluation that integrates fields is necessary, but its evaluation method has not been proposed. We have been conducting generic skill surveys using objective evaluation for 4 years at NIT Sendai college. We propose an evaluation method using this result to evaluate MCC's such as ability to cross field and show its possibility.
