Abstract:

This brief focuses on the stabilization problem for continuous-time positive linear systems. First, a novel weight-factor-based linear event-triggered mechanism (ETM) is proposed, which can be reduced to a time-triggered mechanism. Then sufficient conditions under ETM are developed for the positivity and stability of closed-loop systems, which can also be reduced to the conditions under time-triggered mechanism. Moreover, it is proven that the proposed ETM can exclude Zeno behavior by providing a positive lower bound of the inter-execution time. Finally, a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed event-triggered control scheme.
