Abstract:
The bus voltage quality is very crucial for a hybrid fuel cell system. However, the uncertainties and disturbances in the hybrid system, such as the operation point uncertainties and the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) disturbance, challenge the voltage regulation. In this article, a robust voltage controller with quasi-resonant-based active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is proposed and then applied to the hybrid fuel cell system. The quasi-resonant control law is embedded into the conventional ADRC algorithm to further enhance disturbance rejection capabilities and improve bus voltage quality. The design process of the proposed method is detailed, and the theoretical analysis is conducted to assess its robustness and stability. Finally, the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method are demonstrated through simulation and experimental results.
