Abstract:
Relying on the phenomena which occurs when electric current is passing through a human skin segment an equivalent electric circuit can be defined. The parameters of this circuit were studied and as a proof of concept of the proposed method and device the equivalent circuit was modeled in VHDL-AMS. Furthermore, an FPGA implementation of an earlier device also conceived by the authors is hereby presented as a novel approach of the matter.
