Abstract:

The satellite transmission industry is diverse, catering not only to data services but also requiring the transmission of control signals. These two aspects have different performance indicators. Additionally, this paper takes into account non-ideal factors such as limited transmission rates, channel errors, and actual spectral effects, which are the difficulties that satellite communication systems need to overcome. Based on these considerations, a multi-objective optimization problem is proposed to strike a balance between power and performance for power-sensitive satellite systems. However, the original problem is challenging to solve directly. Hence, we have designed a multi-step optimization algorithm framework. This framework solves the intermediate problem indirectly by addressing the easier problem. Subsequently, it indirectly solves the original problem by resolving the intermediate problem. The effectiveness of our algorithm design is demonstrated through experimental simulations.
