Abstract:
Compressive sensing for sparse signal reconstruction has attracted great research interest in the last decade. In particular, compressive sensing has been successfully applied to direction of arrival (DOA) estimation with infinitely precise measurements. However, in certain applications, low-rate quantization is applied to reduce the hardware complexity and cost. Thus, in this paper, the problem of DOA estimation with one-bit quantization measurements is investigated. An improved fixed-point continuation (FPC) reconstruction algorithm, namely FPC11, is developed to deal with complex-valued signals such that it is applicable to DOA estimation with one-bit measurements. Numerical examples are carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed FPC-11 based one-bit DOA estimator.
